WorkSource Clackamas: News and Updates

Connect Oregon

Thank you to everyone who was able to join last week’s Workforce Partner Network meeting for an overview of Connect Oregon. Our presenter and Connect Oregon Liaison, Oluchi Onyima, is CC’d for those of you ho would like to connect with her and learn more, schedule a demo at your workplace, or if you could not attend last week and want to get involved. As I mentioned, I and CWP are excited for this tool, and hope to promote it as a county-wide resource for social and human service providers from a variety of sectors/industries/areas of focus. This will allow us to make quick, efficient referrals that allow customers to proactively participate in the referral process and access to services, and can help us serve people and their families/communities more holistically through the intake and referral tools. I and Oluchi will be convening people in these on going conversations as we work to equip Clackamas County providers with this valuable tool. Remember, if you are interested in registering, fill out this form: Partner Registration Form or email Oluchi!

Are you ready to collaborate and innovate to rebuild Oregon’s workforce? Join us for the 2021 WORKing Together Conference!
It has been a challenging time – a global pandemic and devastating wildfires have sidelined many workers and impacted our businesses. Now we must find ways to come back together to rebuild our workforce – the way we learn and the way we partner! Please join fellow leaders in workforce development, private industry, secondary and post-secondary education, elected officials, and other thought leaders at the 2021 WORKing Together Conference to learn more about how to manage change and innovation in workforce development during these trying times.

Let’s rebuild together on November 2nd and November 3rd in Bend, Oregon. To learn more about the conference, key note speakers, or to register and book lodging, click here!

Note: If the conference is postponed due to health and safety concerns around COVID-19, we will offer participants the option to get a credit for 2022’s conference or a full refund.
