Regional State of the Workforce Summit

On behalf of the Columbia-Willamette Workforce Collaborative and the respective Local Workforce Boards we represent, thank you all who were able to attend yesterday’s Regional State of the Workforce Summit. Your engagement in this important conversation helps to ensure the strengthening of all our communities and local economies.

As presented, the State of the Workforce Report provides critical information about the quality of the workforce, available and projected jobs, and describes some of the challenges and opportunities facing our region. The information will be utilized to help us better understand the balance between regional workforce supply and industry demand and ensure our workforce development efforts are effectively aligned with the needs of the regional economy.
