Announcing Workforce Investment Council becomes Clackamas Workforce Partnership

The Workforce Investment Council is proud to announce we have changed our organization’s name to Clackamas Workforce Partnership.

On June 18, 2015 the Board of Directors voted to approve the name change. The decision was made that a new name would better identify our organization and our mission to develop a highly skilled workforce that creates sustained economic prosperity in Clackamas County. Additionally, new regulations that govern us (Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act) came into effect in June 2015. The name Clackamas Workforce Partnership better aligns our organization with these new regulations, the workforce system and our peer organizations.

Clackamas Workforce Partnership has recently undertaken an extensive rebranding effort including a new logo. “A new name reflects the importance of our vision and direction as we move forward,” said Bridget Dazey, Executive Director of Clackamas Workforce Partnership. There will be no change in management and our organization will continue to provide the same valuable services in the community and with our partners.
