Certified Work-Ready Communities & National Career Readiness Certificate

Oregon's Certified Work Ready Communities (CWRC) initiative aligns education, workforce and economic development strategies for job creation. It provides a competitive advantage for Clackamas County and Oregon Businesses.

The National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) is a nationally recognized certificate providing objective documentation of an individual's skills. The CWRC uses NCRC data to demonstrate workforce quality, close skill gaps and attract new businesses. Your organization is invited to sign a Letter of Support to prefer NCRC in your company's recruitment and hiring process (select "Clackamas" as your NCRC Representative on the form).

Want to see a list of some of the Clackamas County businesses that have already signed a letter of support? Or curious about how close we are to our goals? See the latest update here!

For more information on the CWRC & NCRC, please go to the Oregon Work Ready website or contact Amy Oakley at amy.oakley@clackamasworkforce.org or call 503-657-6770.
